Doosan wheel excavators are designed to navigate narrow widths and crowded jobsites. Not only are these machines packed with performance features, but they also faster travel speeds, reducing their need to haul the machine over short distances.
The front axle oscillates and provides improved operator comfort for traveling over rough jobsites, but can be locked for better digging and lifting performance. The rear axle is fixed. The transmission is mounted directly to the rear axle for protection from obstacles and optimum ground clearance.

Doosan wheel excavators feature a high-pressure common rail engine and Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS) to deliver optimum power and fuel efficiency. The design optimizes combustion and torque for faster cycles and maximum results.
Choose from Standard Mode for optimized fuel consumption and general working conditions, Power Mode for faster cycle times and heavy-duty work requirements or Economy mode for reduced fuel consumption in reduced demand applications. All iT4 models also include a Power+ mode for faster workgroup speeds and greater productivity during the harshest conditions.
Designed for Smoother Rides.
An advanced disc brake system works directly on the hub instead of the drive shaft to avoid planetary gear backlash. A new travel motor and transmission control in the driveline provides comfortable travel thanks to increased smoothness and improved breaking and gear shifting.
The modular design allows you to easily configure the machine with a dozer blade or outriggers. Level or backfill material with the dozer blade, or stabilize the machine during digging applications. Control the outriggers individually to level the machine on uneven terrain.
Superior Solutions for Interim Tier 4 Compliance.
To comply with iT4 regulations, most Doosan wheel excavators incorporate a three-fold systems approach:
• Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR)
• A Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC)
• A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) works well when the engine runs at a rated engine RPM versus varied engine RPMs. Since Doosan excavators typically operate at full-rated RPM, the engine operates at a consistent combustion temperature and reduces nitrus oxide (NOx). The DOC and DPF act as after-treatments to reduce particulate matter (PM).
